Previous Ranking: 1

After seeing their lengthy winning streak snapped with a 27-24 loss to Alabama in the 2023 SEC Championship Game, Georgia drops out of their No. 1 spot down one ranking to finish the season at No. 2. Despite outscoring the Crimson Tide in the second half, 17-10, it would not be enough to overcome a 17-7 halftime deficit.

Now sitting at 12-1 overall, a record that also included an 8-0 mark in SEC play during the regular season, Georgia will next play in a bowl game that is currently TBD.
