Auburn, LSU among SEC football November 2023 recruiting winners

Auburn Tigers

November Commits:

  • 4-star EDGE Jamonte Waller
  • 4-star IOL Kalen Edwards
  • 3-star TE Ryan Ghea
  • 3-star S Laquan Robinson
  • 3-star IOL Kail Ellis

Beginning with Auburn, head coach Hugh Freeze and the Tigers were likely SEC football’s biggest recruiting winner from November 2023 by landing a conference-high five commitments. Of those five, two came via their 2024 class, two via their 2025 group, and one coming in the 2026 cycle.

Likely the biggest of those five commitments came from Jamonte Waller, who is a four-star edge rusher out of Picayune Memorial (MS) who flipped from Florida. Joining the four-star in Auburn’s 2024 class was Laquan Robinson, who is the nation’s top JUCO safety in the cycle, as well as rated as a three-star prospect out of Holmes C.C. (MS).

The Tigers two 2025 commitments came via four-star interior offensive lineman Kalen Edwards (Dyersburg, TN) and three-star tight end Ryan Ghea (Milton, GA), while Auburn also landed what was the first commitment of their 2026 cycle during November. That commitment came from Kail Ellis, who is an interior offensive lineman out of Cass (GA).
