Ken Cross is a 17-year veteran free lance writer in the Charlotte, NC area who continues to cover the SEC/ACC, Davidson, UNCC and the Charlotte professional sports scene. Ken has a plethora of experience in both broadcast and sports journalism as he has done updates on ESPN Radio on Carolina Panthers games for 16 years in addition to college football, college basketball and select NBA games.Ken has also done reporting in the past for Fox Sports Radio, Sporting News (now Yahoo!) Sports Radio, as well as appearing on various radio shows to give his analysis on the four major sports.Ken began his free-lance writing career with Basketball News in the late 1990s and has moved from there to being a steady contributor to Lindy's College Basketball annuals as well as Lindy's Sports Web site. In addition, he has been possibly the most major contributor to Collegechalktalk.com since 2011 where he has covered college basketball in the same area plus on a national basis.
