OT Amarius Mims - 1st Round

The biggest thing working against Mims will be his lack of experience as a starter. The talent, potential, and size (6'7, 340) is immense, but he has just 8 career starts under his belt.

He did not play much as a Freshman in 2021, then was an often used rotation tackle in 2022 (behind Broderick Jones and Warren McClendon). He was a breakout candidate in 2023, and played well before an ankle injury in the middle of the season sidelined him.

However, one stat to know is that he did not give up a sack in roughly 400 career pass-blocking snaps in college.

Lack of experience might be a reason that he won't go in the top 10, but his talent and size should make him a 1st rounder. I also would not rule out him being a late-riser into top 10 discussions because of the talent and size.
