2024 NFL Draft: Georgia Bulldogs Draft Predictions
S Javon Bullard - Late 1st to 2nd Round
A fan-favorite in his time in Athens, Javon Bullard made a lot of highlight plays and big hits at Georgia while patrolling the field on the back-end. Bullard was Georgia's enforcer on defense, and was named the 2022 CFP National Championship Defensive MVP. In 2023, he had 56 tackles, 1 TFL, 2 INT's, and 5 PBU's to earn 2nd team All-SEC honors.
Bullard was a part of Georgia's elite defensive backfield in 2023 that featured Lassiter, Tykee Smith (who I'll talk about in a second), and rising-Junior (and one of 2025's top safety prospects) in Malaki Starks.
Bullard's size is a question mark (his measurements at the Combine will be big), but he plays bigger than his size. His versatility, both in pass-coverage and in run-support, will only serve to boost him at the next level.
He could play nickel or roam around as a Free Safety. Bullard's attitude and demeanor is one that Defensive Coordinators will fall in love with.
Positional value is another question here, which is why Bullard will likely go in the 2nd round, but I could see a team grabbing him at the back-end of the 1st round. Across his Georgia career, Bullard had 114 tackles, 8 TFL, 3.5 sacks, 4 INT's, 8 PBU's, and 1 FR.
