2024 NFL Draft: Georgia Bulldogs Draft Predictions
C Sedrick Van Pran-Granger - Day 2 Pick (2nd or 3rd round)
Sedrick Van Pran was as reliable of a center as you can have for Georgia. He always stayed on the field, rarely gave up pressure, and led Georgia both on and off the field.
Across his final 3 seasons at Georgia, Van Pran gave up just one sack (zero across his final two years) and 24 hurries across 2,554 snaps in 41 games.
Van Pran graded out at 89% as a run-blocker according to NFLdraftbuzz.com and PFF ranks him as the sixth best run-blocking grade among all offensive lineman in the draft.
While positional value is working against Van Pran (only one center has been taken in the 1st round of the last 3 drafts (Tyler Linderbaum at pick #25 in 2022)), you do start to see some going off the board in the 2nd round. Van Pran is among the top 3-4 centers in the class (in what is actually a strong center class), and could be in the running to be the first off the board.
