The Georgia Bulldogs just completed a sweep over the Vanderbilt Commodores to improve their record on the season to 35-12, with a 13-11 conference record. They have one of the best offensive teams in the country, which recently made program history.

The Bulldogs' offense ranks in third in Division I baseball in home runs and slugging percentage. They also rank seventh in on-base percentage. Let's take a look at the hitters that are getting Georgia ranked in these statistical categories.

Charlie Condon is the best hitter in college baseball. He started at Georgia as a walk-on, but is now the top draft prospect for this year's MLB Draft, according to MLB Pipeline. This season, Condon has a batting average of .459 with 33 home runs and 69 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.673, which includes an on-base percentage of .568 and a slugging percentage of 1.105.

Corey Collins, another great hitter on the Bulldogs. The senior is having the best year of his career, which is making him an underrated prospect for this year's MLB Draft. This season, Collins has a batting average of .352 with 14 home runs and 43 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.369, which includes an on-base percentage of .591 and a slugging percentage of .778.

Dylan Goldstein is also having a career year in Athens. The graduate student transferred to Georgia from Florida Atlantic and it has paid off for him and the Bulldogs. This season, Goldstein has a batting average of .313 with 12 home runs and 39 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.149, which includes an on-base percentage of .461 and a slugging percentage of .688.

These three hitters are dangerous to opposing pitching staffs, which makes Georgia a dangerous team. Its only problem has been pitching. The Georgia pitching staff is ranked ninth in the SEC in earned run average at 5.31, ninth in opposing batting average at .254, and sixth in batters struck out with 478. Wes Johnson earned the job at Georgia after leading LSU's pitching staff that featured Paul Skenes last season. However, his pitching staff in Athens has not been good, even with a few arms having solid seasons.

Leighton Finley has been the ace for the Bulldogs and he is only a sophomore. This season, the young right-handed pitcher has a 4-1 record with an earned run average of 4.53 in 53.2 innings pitched and has struck out 54. He also has a WHIP of 1.32 and an opposing batting average of .251.

Kolten Smith is a solid pitcher out of the bullpen for Georgia who has limited the baserunners but has allowed a lot of runs. This season, Smith has a 7-2 record with an earned run average of 5.06 in 48 innings pitched and has struck out 75 batters. He also has a 1.12 WHIP and an opposing batting average of .235.

Charlie Goldstein is another good pitcher for Georgia who has gotten multiple starts and appearances out of the bullpen. This season, Goldstein has a 4-1 record with an earned run average of 3.72 in 36.1 innings pitched and has struck out 43 batters. He also has a WHIP of 1.32 and an opposing batting average of .248.

This team has a lot of talent this year, which makes them a sleeper team to win the SEC Tournament. The last time the Georgia Bulldogs won an SEC Tournament was in 2008. They also won the first ever in 1933.

Keep a close watch on the Bulldogs for the rest of the season. The remainder of their schedule includes a three-game series against South Carolina and a three-game series against the Florida Gators. With a good seed and some timely pitching, Georgia could be the 2024 SEC Tournament champions.
