After four great weeks of non conference baseball, the SEC is beginning conference play this weekend. Let's take a look at the best match-up in the SEC this weekend.

The fourth ranked Texas A&M Aggies travel to Gainesville to take on the eighth ranked Florida Gators. The Aggies remain undefeated through 17 games and the Gators are coming off a tough loss to Florida State, which makes their record 10-6.

Game one will be on Friday evening at six-thirty, eastern standard time. For the Aggies, we should see Ryan Prager on the mound. He has a record of 4-0 with a 0.00 earned run average with 40 strikeouts. For the Gators, we should see Cade Fisher get the start. He has a record of 1-1 with a 7.56 earned run average with 27 strikeouts.

Game two will be on Saturday at six-thirty, eastern standard time. Tanner Jones should be the starting pitcher for Texas A&M. He has a record of 1-0 with a 1.00 earned run average with 14 strikeouts. Liam Peterson should get the start for the Gators. He has a record of 1-1 with an earned run average 5.06 with 22 strikeouts.

The final game of the series will be played on Sunday at six-thirty, eastern standard time. Justin Lamkin got the start for the Aggies. He has a record of 1-0 with a 0.98 earned run average with 27 strikeouts. Jac Caglianone should get the start for the Gators. He has a record of 2-0 with an earned run average of 1.80 with 27 strikeouts.

Two hitters to pay attention to this series is Jac Caglianone and Braden Montgomery. Both of these players are top prospects in this years Major League Draft.

Jac Caglianone will more than likely be the game three starting pitcher, but will also be the top hitter in games one and two. So far this season, Caglianone has a batting average of .412 with five home runs and 16 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.147, which includes an on-base percentage of .500 and a slugging percentage of .647.

Braden Montgomery is also a two-way prospect, but he has only thrown an inning this year. So far this season, Montgomery has a batting average of .403 with seven home runs and 31 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.414, which includes an on-base percentage of .543 and a slugging percentage of .871.

Keep an eye out for this series this weekend. There are other great series, but this one is number one.
