With the transfer portal closing at Midnight eastern Wednesday night (players just had to notify their schools that they were transferring, so we will still see some names trickle in over the next few days), to go along with several announcements, this was a busy edition of our daily SEC transfer portal roundup for Wednesday May 1st.

Kentucky adds nations top 3-point shooter Koby Brea

Mark Pope and Kentucky added last season's national leader in 3-point shooting percentage in Dayton transfer Koby Brea on Wednesday. Brea shot a whopping 49.8% on 6.1 3-point attempts per game last year. Overall for the season, he averaged 11.1 PPG and 3.8 RPG on the year while shooting 51.2% from the field. In his four-year career so far, Brea has made 224 3-pointers across 113 career games. On3 ranks Brea is the No. 41 overall transfer in the portal.

Georgia lands Clemson transfer RJ Godfrey

Suwanee, Ga. native RJ Godfrey is headed back to his home state as he is transferring to Georgia from Clemson. Godfrey averaged 6.1 PPG and 3.4 RPG on 59.4% shooting last season in 15.5 minutes per game. RJ's father played Linebacker for the Georgia football team in the 90's before a long NFL career. Godfrey will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Kentucky also adds West Virginia transfer Kerr Kriisa

Kerr Kriisa is also headed to Kentucky after a season at West Virginia. Kriisa averaged 11 PPG, 2.5 RPG, and 4.7 APG this past year while shooting 42.9% from the field and a career-best 42.4% from three. Kriisa began his career at Arizona where he averaged 9.4 PPG, 2.3 RPG, and 4.7 APG on 35.9%/35.2%/79.3% shooting splits in 76 games there. Kriisa will have one season of eligibility remaining in Lexington.

LSU lands Richmond guard Dji Bailey

After a breakout 2023/24 season, Dji Bailey is headed to LSU. The 6'5 guard averaged 10.2 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 2.2 APG, and 1.7 SPG for the Spiders this past year while shooting 59.4% from the field. Bailey should have one season of eligibility remaining.

Trevon Brazile enters Transfer Portal

After previously entering his name into the NBA draft, Arkansas's Trevon Brazile has also now entered the transfer portal as well. A high-potential forward, Brazile averaged 8.6 PPG and 5.9 RPG this past season while shooting 48.8% from the field. Brazile started his career at Missouri before spending the last two seasons at Arkansas.

Ven-Allen Lubin enters Transfer Portal

One of Vanderbilt's leading scorers from last season in entering the portal in rising-Junior Ven-Allen Lubin. Lubin averaged 12.3 PPG and 6.3 RPG last year on 50% shooting. Lubin started his career at Notre Dame.

Kaden Cooper enters Transfer Portal

Oklahoma guard Kaden Cooper is entering the transfer portal. Cooper averaged 1.5 PPG in 15 games in his Freshman season this past year.
