Jermaine Burton

The Nick Saban led Alabama Crimson Tide had won 15 straight against the Tennessee Volunteers before losing in Knoxville the Josh Heupel’s gang 52-49 which saw Tennessee fans come crashing down onto the field in jubilation.

Beyond the thousands of dollars in Alabama equipment that was damaged, an on-field altercation between Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton after he struck a female Tennessee fan running past him to celebrate on the field as seen on RedditCFB’s X (Formerly known as Twitter) account.

While it is unknown if the fan said something that caused Burton to react, that is irrelevant when it comes to the issue of player and fan safety, which heightened obvious alarms in this instance.
