College Football awards will be given to these SEC players in 2024
Most Impactful Offensive Transfer - C, Parker Brailsford (Alabama)
Brailsford was arguably the most prominent player that followed Kalen DeBoer from Washington to Alabama where he will replace Seth McLaughlin (who transferred to Ohio State himself) as Alabama's starting center. Brailsford was a second team All-Pac-12 performer last year and was named to the second team preseason All-SEC team a few weeks ago. Brailsford ranked as the top Center and 15th tanked overall player in the portal according to On3 and was the number two ranked Center and the 22nd ranked overall player according to 247.
Most Impactful Defensive Transfer - DL, Walter Nolen (Ole Miss)
Nolen is an instant-impact type player who can take a defense to the next level. The former five-star and consensus top-5 recruit in the HS class of 2022 had 37 tackles, four sacks, and 8.5 tackles for loss in 2023 for Texas A&M. However, he does a lot of things that don't show up the box score and is expected to make an even bigger impact for the Rebels defense this season. 247 ranked him as the third overall player in the portal, while On3 tabbed him at second overall. Nolen was a preseason first team All-SEC pick over the Summer.
