Exploring the unique traditions of Texas A&M University

Texas A&M University has some of the most unique traditions in all of sports. In this article, I list my top five and explain.

It is debatable whether or not Texas A&M has more traditions than any other division one university. What is not debatable is that the Aggies boast the most unique traditions amongst all division one universities. While there are many, I rank what I feel are the five most unique traditions of the Texas A&M Aggies.

5) “Fish Camp”

This is a freshman tradition that is a three-day retreat of sorts where freshman gather at the Lakeview Conference Center in Palestine, Texas to learn all about Aggie traditions, chants while meeting future classmates and engraining themselves into the Aggie culture. “Fish Camp” Is in fact a tradition funded by the university that is so well organized it requires a registration.
