Exploring the unique traditions of Texas A&M University

Texas A&M University has some of the most unique traditions in all of sports. In this article, I list my top five and explain.

2) “Aggie Bonfire”

This annual tradition was halted on campus in 1999 after a tragic incident which claimed the lives of 12 students. However, it is still worth mentioning as the Bonfire tradition existed for nearly 100 years on campus since 1909. The Bonfire got bigger and bigger each year. Nowadays, while not as large or supported by the university, the tradition does still happen off campus and is something that should never be forgotten.
