Best Freshman

To start on a SEC baseball team as a freshman is very incredible. Not only is starting very difficult, but to be a top hitter in just your first year on campus is outstanding.

The mid-season best freshman award is going to Gavin Grahovac of the Texas A&M Aggies. The freshman outfielder has been a great bat for the Aggies this season.

In 29 games, Grahovac has a batting average of .345 with nine home runs and 36 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.098, which includes an on-base percentage of .443 and a slugging percentage of .655.

Grahovac also has 41 total hits and 10 doubles. His bat is very excellent and the best out of any freshman in the SEC. Keep an eye out for him as he will continue to get better throughout his career.

This is why Gavin Grahovac is my mid-season best freshman.
