Ladd McConkey (Winner) – Like his SEC counterpart Ricky Pearsall, McConkey also shined at the Reese’s Senior Bowl. That trend continued for McConkey at the NFL Combine as well as he ran a 4.39 in the 40-yard dash.
McConkey’s performance in the passing gauntlet was perfect which impressed NFL scouts as he did not drop a single ball.
His athleticism showed itself again when receiving a pass from Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartman that was a bit of the mark. McConkey was able to adjust his body in mid-air and come down with the grab.
