NFL Combine: Winners and Losers from the SEC
The annual NFL Combine was this past weekend in Indianapolis. We dive into the top winners and losers out of the SEC that participated.
Mekhi Wingo (Winner) – After an injury plagued season for the LSU Tigers under Brian Kelly, the defensive lineman shined posting a 4.85 40-yard dash and a 31.5 inch vertical.
For a defensive lineman, these are quite impressive numbers. So although Wingo who is only around six feet tall is said to be undersized for his position, his performance at the combine probably helped his draft stock despite this.
