Ranking each SEC school as combined football and baseball programs

The SEC, as usual, enjoyed a lot of success on the gridiron and the baseball diamond in 2023 and 2024.

2. Tennessee - 23 points
9 points football, 14 points baseball

The football Volunteers took a few steps back from their almost historic 2022 season and volunteered up a few more losses. Their .500 conference record was good for third in the East division and their bowl win gave them 9 wins on the year.

This was the easiest ranking to make. The Tennessee baseball team just capped off an historic season by winning their first ever national championship. The Volunteers won the SEC and were the number one overall seed in the postseason during their dominant run.

The Tennessee baseball program has been one of the best in the country for the past few seasons, and they finally have their title to show for it.

1. Georgia - 24 points
13 points football, 11 points baseball

The Georgia Bulldogs failed to win their third consecutive National Championship, but did complete their third consecutive undefeated regular season. With a 12-1 record and record-setting win in the Orange Bowl, Georgia has shown that they are a true force in college football.

The Bulldogs' baseball team also had a heck of a season, finishing with a 17-13 conference record and hosting their first Super Regional since 2008. The team fell one win short of reaching Omaha with their loss to NC State, but the future of the program looks bright.

Georgia's strong regular season, number 7 national seed, and ability to advance to the finals of a Super Regional combine to give the program the nod over Arkansas and Florida for this list.

With Texas and Oklahoma set to join the conference, this list will get even more impressive. Both teams made the postseason in football and baseball last season and will look to continue that success in the SEC.
