Ranking the Top Five College Football Video Game Cover Athletes of All Time

Since EA Sports outed its first edition in 1995, tons of athletes have had the privilege to star on the cover, but not all have had such success since that time. Let’s take a look at the top five cover athletes since 1995 and see how their careers shaped out.

No. 2: Tim Tebow - Florida, Quarterback, 2006-2009

Tebow led the Florida Gators to the National Championship in 2007 and 2009 while totaling 9,285 passing yards and 88 touchdowns throughout those years. Tebow won the Heisman Award in 2007 but was a finalist three times.

He was also an All-American and was listed as the 2008 SEC Offensive Player of the Year. Tebow was drafted No. 25 overall in the 2010 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos where he built a short mediocre career with Denver and the New York Jets.
