Ranking the Worst College Mascots

It is really easy to think of some of the best college mascots as they are always top of mind. What are not top of mind alot of times are the worst ones. In this article, I took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to ask college sports fans who had the worst mascot. And they wasted no time weighing in.

2. Big Red (Western Kentucky)

The Hilltoppers in their defense are in a tough spot. It has to be extremely difficult to try to produce a creative-looking mascot costume when your nickname is the Hilltoppers. Nonetheless, we have to call it what it is.

Big Red basically looks like a giant red blob on the field and is not aesthetically appealing whatsoever, putting him near the top of the list for worst college mascot for many fans.
