SEC Baseball Alumni on the First and Second All Spring Breakout Teams

Spencer Jones was a Vanderbilt Commodore before becoming a top prospect inside the New York Yankees organization.
In three years at Vanderbilt, Jones posted a batting average of .329 with 15 home runs and 73 runs batted in. He also had an OPS of .972, which included an on-base percentage of .418 and a slugging percentage of .554.
Jones had his best season in his junior year, which got him selected by the Yankees in the first round of the 2022 Major League Draft.
In two seasons of professional baseball, Jones has a batting average of .279 with 20 home runs and 78 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of .810, which includes a .351 on-base percentage and a .459 slugging percentage.
Jones had a great performance in the Spring Breakout game as he had three hits in four at-bats. In those three hits, Jones hit two home runs and had four runs batted in.
