Paul Skenes was an LSU Tiger before he became the best pitching prospect in Major League Baseball.
Skenes spent two seasons at Air Force before transferring to LSU. In his three collegiate seasons, Skenes has a record of 24-6 with an earned run average of 2.18 in 235 innings pitched with 335 strikeouts.
Skenes was the biggest name in college baseball as he became a national champion shortly before getting drafted first overall by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
In one season of professional baseball, Skenes has only pitched in five games resulting in a 5.40 earned run average in 6.2 innings pitched with 10 strikeouts.
He had a very great appearnce in the Spring Breakout game as he threw one inning and struck out two Orioles top prospects, Enrique Bradfield Jr. and Jackson Holliday.
