Patrick Reilly

Patrick Reilly is the second Vanderbilt Commodore to make an All Spring Breakout Team. He is also the second Pittsburgh Pirate to make one of these teams.

In three seasons at Vanderbilt, Reilly had a record of 11-9 with an earned run average of 5.25 in 144 innings pitched with 187 strikeouts.

Reilly had a decent career with the Commodores, which resulted in him being selected in the fifth round by the Pirates.

In one season with the Pirates, Reilly has a 2-2 record with a 5.91 earned run average in 10.2 innings pitched with 19 strikeouts.

Although he has struggled with the Pirates so far, the Spring Breakout game might have been the turning point for him. In one inning on the mound, Reilly struck out all three batters he faced.

After that solid inning, the former Commodore is looking to build off of this performance, this season.
