6. OF Jace LaViolette (Texas A&M)

Our first of two Aggies on this list, Laviolette has been a key cog in A&M's lineup. He's hitting .418 on the year with a 1.479 OPS (.952 slugging % (T-2nd in SEC) and .527 OBP). He also has 6 HR's (T-3rd in SEC) and ranks second in the SEC in RBI with 21. He's also one of three players in the SEC with two triples on the year, and he's also scored 18 runs so far.

If it were not for his teammate that's a couple spots higher than him on this list, Laviolette might be getting a lot more love. The Aggies are the SEC's lone remaining unbeaten at 12-0, are ranked No. 7 in the country, and play Rhode Island in their final non-conference weekend series this weekend.

5. 3B Billy Amick (Tennessee)

One of the SEC's top incoming transfers from this past offseason (from Clemson), Billy Amick has made an instant impact for the Vols. He's been one of the best power-hitters in the conference so far, currently tied for the SEC lead with 8 homers. Overall, he's hitting .380 with a .940 slugging percentage, two doubles, one triple, 19 RBI, 17 runs scored, and a 1.369 OPS.

Amick also sits second in the SEC in total bases with 47. The Vols are currently 12-1, are ranked No. 8 nationally, and head into a weekend series against Illinois on Friday.
