8. OF TJ McCants (Alabama)

Last week's ranking: 5

McCants slides down several spots to 8, but it has more to do with what some other guys did than anything McCants didn't do. Last week, McCants went 6/17 at the plate with one Home Run, one RBI, and 2 runs scored.

Overall for the season, McCants now has a .369 AVG, a .455 OBP, and a .738 SLG (1.193 OPS). He also has 7 HR, 8 doubles, one triple, 24 RBI, 20 runs scored, and is still a perfect 6/6 on stolen bases. Alabama will take on Georgia this weekend.

7. OF Dakota Jordan (Mississippi State)

Last week's ranking: Honorable Mention

Dakota Jordan's hot-streak continues and it pushes him here into the #7 spot (and he will keep moving up if he keeps it up). Last week, he was 5-of-14 hitting with one Home Run, 4 RBI, and 4 runs scored as Mississippi State picked up a big series win over LSU.

On the year, Jordan now sits with a .408 Average (5th in SEC), a .550 OBP (3rd in SEC), an .895 SLG (2nd in SEC), and a 1.445 OPS. He also has 10 HR (Tied for 2nd in SEC), 7 doubles, 32 RBI (2nd in SEC), and 24 runs scored.

This upcoming weekend, Mississippi State will take on Texas A&M, with the series starting on Thursday.
