Number 24: Kentucky Wildcats

The Kentucky Wildcats are in the top 25 after their 5-1 start in conference play. Last week they went 3-1 to make their overall record 20-4.

Last week, Kentucky beat Evansville for their midweek game and won two out of three against Missouri.

Nick Lopez has been the best hitter for the Wildcats this season. Through 19 games played, Lopez has a batting average of .419 with two home runs and 18 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.141, which includes an on-base percentage of .452 and a slugging percentage of .689.

Mason Moore has been the best pitcher in the Wildcats rotation. Through five starts, Moore has a record of 4-0 with an earned run average of 2.28 in 27.2 innings pitched with 27 strikeouts.

This week, Kentucky takes on Miami (Ohio) for a midweek game and Ole Miss for their weekend series.
