Number 21: Mississippi State Bulldogs

The Mississippi State Bulldogs remained in the 21 spot in the rankings by going 2-2 last week. This made their record on the season 17-8, with a 3-3 conference record.

Last week, the Bulldogs beat Memphis in their midweek contest and lost two out of three to Texas A&M.

Dakota Jordan has consistently been the best hitter for Mississippi State this season. Through 25 games, Jordan has a batting average of .380 with 11 home runs and 35 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.336, which includes an on-base percentage of .521 and a slugging percentage of .815.

Jurrangelo Cijntje has been a great starter for the Bulldogs this season. The ambidextrous pitcher has a 4-1 record with an earned run average of 3.62 in 32.1 innings pitched with 45 strikeouts.

This week, Mississippi State plays Samford for their midweek game before travelling to play Florida for a three game series.
