Number 18: South Carolina Gamecocks

The South Carolina Gamecocks had a great week, going 4-0, to return to the top 25. Their overall record on the season sits at 19-5, with a 4-2 conference record.

Last week, the Gamecocks beat USC Upstate for their midweek game and swept Vanderbilt in a three game series.

Ethan Petry has been the best overall hitter for South Carolina this season. Through 24 games, Petry has a batting average of .325 with 10 home runs and 21 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.247, which includes an on-base percentage of .522 and a slugging percentage of .725.

Eli Jones has been the best pitcher for the Gamecocks this season. Through six starts, Jones has a 2-0 record with a 2.35 earned run average in 30.2 innings pitched with 22 strikeouts.

This week, South Carolina takes on Presbyterian before heading to Alabama for a three game series.
