Number 8: LSU Tigers

The LSU Tigers dropped three spots in this weeks top 25 after going 2-2. Their overall record sits at 19-6, with a 2-4 conference record.

Last week, the Tigers won their midweek matchup against Louisiana Tech before losing two out of three to Florida.

Jared Jones has been a solid hitter for LSU this season. Through 25 games, Jones has a .293 batting average with 10 home runs and 23 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.216, which includes an on-base percentage of .448 and a slugging percentage of .768.

Luke Holman has been one the best pitchers in college baseball this season. Through six starts, Holman has a 5-1 record with an earned run average of 0.78 in 34.2 innings pitched with 56 strikeouts.

This week, LSU will face Southeastern Louisiana before travelling to Arkansas for a three game series.

Number 7: Vanderbilt Commodores

The Vanderbilt Commodores dropped four spots in this weeks top 25 after going 1-3. Their overall record sits at 19-6, with a 3-3 conference record.

Last week, the Commodores beat Belmont in their midweek game before getting swept by South Carolina.

Alan Espinal has been the best hitter for Vanderbilt this season. Through 24 games, Espinal has a batting average of .348 with four home runs and 21 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.005, which includes an on-base percentage of .454 and a slugging percentage of .551.

Carter Holton has been a solid starter for the Commodores this season. Through six appearances, Holton has a record of 3-0 with an earned run average of 3.77 in 31 innings pitched with 49 strikeouts.

This week, Vanderbilt takes on Valparaiso before taking on Missouri for a three game series.
