Number 5: Tennessee Volunteers

The Tennessee Volunteers moved up three spots this week after going 3-1. Their record on the season is 21-4, with a 3-3 conference record.

Last week, the Volunteers got a midweek win against Xavier and then won two out of three against Ole Miss.

Kavares Tears has been the best hitter for Tennessee this season. Through 24 games, Tears has a batting average of .405 with eight home runs and 23 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.272, which includes an on-base percentage of .500 and a slugging percentage of .772.

AJ Causey has been the best pitcher for the Volunteers this season. Through six appearances, Causey has a record of 5-0 with an earned run average of 1.91 in 33 innings pitched with 44 strikeouts.
