Number 24: Florida Gators

The Florida Gators dropped 18 spots in this weeks rankings after a 1-3 week. This made their overall record on the season 17-14, with a 6-6 conference record.

Last week, the Gators beat Florida A&M in their midweek contest, but got swept by Missouri in a three game series.

Jac Caglianone remains the best hitter for Florida this season. Through 31 games, Caglianone has a batting average of .391 with 16 home runs and 34 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.261, which includes an on-base percentage of .480 and a slugging percentage of .781.

Caglianone has also been the top pitcher in the Gator's rotation. Through seven starts, Caglianone has a 3-0 record with a 3.67 earned run average in 34.1 innings pitched and has struck out 44 batters.

This week, Florida will take on Florida State in their midweek contest before taking on South Carolina for a three game series.
