Number 6: Vanderbilt Commodores

The Vanderbilt Commodores moved up just one spot after a 2-1 week. This improved their overall record to 25-7, with a 8-4 conference record.

Last week, the Commodores won two out of three against LSU.

RJ Austin is the best overall hitter in the Vanderbilt lineup. Through 31 games played, Austin has a batting average of .336 with three home runs and 32 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of .870, which includes an on-base percentage of .422 and a slugging percentage of .448.

Carter Holton is now the best starter in the Vanderbilt rotation. Through eight appearances, Holton has a 5-0 record with a 3.27 earned run average in 44 innings pitched and has struck out 67 batters.

This week, Vanderbilt will take on Middle Tennessee for a midweek game before travelling to Texas A&M for a three game series.
