The Tennessee Volunteers stayed at number four after a 2-1 week. This made their overall record on the season 26-6, with a 7-5 conference record.
Last week, the Volunteers won two out of three against Auburn.
Blake Burke has been the best hitter on in the Tennessee lineup. Through 31 games, Burke has a batting average of .408 with 11 home runs and 30 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.307, which includes an on-base percentage of .474 and a slugging percentage of .833.
Drew Beam has been the best pitcher in the Volunteer rotation. Through eight starts, Beam has a 4-1 record with a 3.63 earned run average in 44.2 innings pitched and has struck out 40 batters.
This week, Tennessee will take on Alabama A&M in a midweek game before taking on LSU for a three game series.
