Number 21: Mississippi State Bulldogs

The Mississippi State Bulldogs have entered the top 25 for the first time this season after dominating the number two team in the country over the weekend.

Last week, the Bulldogs went 3-2, which included a midweek win over New Orleans and a midweek loss to South Alabama. Over the weekend, Mississippi State took two out of three from LSU. Their overall record now sits at 15-6.

Dakota Jordan has been the best hitter for the Bulldogs this year. Through 21 games, Jordan has a batting average of .408 with 10 home runs and 32 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.445, which includes an on-base percentage of .550 and a slugging percentage of .895.

Nate Dohm has been the best pitcher for the Bulldogs this year. Through four starts on the mound, Dohm has a record 3-0 with an earned run average of 1.50 in 24 innings pitched with 32 strikeouts.

This week, Mississippi State faces off against Memphis before heading to College Station to face off against Texas A&M.
