Number 6: Florida Gators

The Florida Gators had decent week, which moved them up two spots in the rankings. They went 2-2, making their overall record 12-7.

Last week, the Gators lost a tough game to in-state rival, Florida State. Over the weekend, Florida took two out of three games from Texas A&M.

Jac Caglianone has been the best hitter for the Gators so far through the season. In 19 games, Caglianone has a batting average of .415 with seven home runs and 18 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.172, which incldudes an on-base percentage of .489 and a slugging percentage of .683.

Caglianone has also been the best pitcher for the Gators this season. Through four starts, Calianone has a record of 2-0 with a 1.77 earned run average in 20.1 innings pitched with 34 strikeouts.

This week, Florida takes on Jacksonville in their midweek matchup before heading travelling to play LSU.
