Number 5: LSU Tigers

The LSU Tigers struggled this week, resulting in their drop of three spots in this weeks rankings. They went 3-2, making their overall record 17-4.

Last week, the Tigers took on North Dakota State for a two game, midweek series. They won both before losing two out of three to Mississippi State.

Tommy White has been heating up recently, making him the best hitter for the Tigers this season. Through 21 games, White has a batting average of .321 with five home runs and 19 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of .950, which includes an on-base percentage of .414 and a slugging percentage of .536.

Luke Holman has been the best pitcher for LSU so far this season. Through five starts, Holman has 4-1 record with an earned run average of 0.63 in 28.2 innings pitched and 43 strikeouts.

This week, the Tigers face off against Louisiana Tech in their midweek contest before hosting Florida for a three game series.
