Number 3: Vanderbilt Commodores

The Vanderbilt Commodores had a great week, which resulted in them moving up six spots in this weeks rankings. They went 4-0, making their overall record 18-3.

Last week, the Commodores continued their win streak of 13 games by beating Indiana in the midweek and sweeping Auburn over the weekend.

Alan Espinal has been the leading hitter for Vanderbilt so far this season. Through 20 games, Espinal has a batting average of .400 with four home runs and 20 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.135, which includes an on-base percentage of .495 and a slugging percentage of .640.

Bryce Cunningham has been the best pitcher for the Commodores this season. Through five starts, Cunningham has a record of 3-0 with an earned run average of 2.45 in 25.2 innings pitched with 36 strikeouts.

This week, Vanderbilt plays a Nashville rival, Belmont, for their midweek matchup before hitting the road to take on South Carolina.
