Number 7: Vanderbilt Commodores
The Vanderbilt Commodores have remained as the seventh ranked team after a 4-0 week. This has improved their record on the season to 23-6.
Last week, the Commodores got a midweek victory over Valparaiso before sweeping Missouri in a three game series.
RJ Austin has been a top hitter in this Vanderbilt lineup this season. Through 28 games played, Austin has a .351 batting average with two home runs and 29 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of .889, which includes an on-base percentage of .439 and a slugging percentage of .450.
Bryce Cunningham has been the best starting pitcher for the Commodores. Through seven starts, Cunningham has a 4-1 record with an earned run average of 2.87 in 37.2 innings pitched and has struck out 57 batters.
This week, Vanderbilt will host Western Kentucky before heading to LSU for a three game series.
