4. Ole Miss Rebels 11-4 (1-1)

This team's losses have all been close to good teams (and Southern Miss), and they have notable wins against Arizona, Michigan, and after this week, Alabama. If this team was not dead last in the SEC in 3-point percentage, they would probably have had the scoring they needed to get over the hill against Louisville, Southern Miss, and maybe even LSU, who they led halfway through the third this past week. If they figured out how to make threes, they could be incredible.

This week the Rebels face 11-4 Auburn at home and 13-4 Mississippi State on the road.

3. Vanderbilt Commodores 15-1 (2-0)

Full disclosure, I am a Vandy grad. That doesn't change the fact that this team has gone 15-1 with their only loss coming on the road against a very good NC State in a packed stadium. Jordyn Cambridge remains healthy and continues to climb up the all-time steals ladder while Iyana Moore and Sacha Washington continue to have great junior season. Despite their record, somehow they ended up the first team out of the AP poll this week, so this week's games are incredibly important if the Commodores want a tiny number next to their name for the first time in years.

This week the Commodores face 8-8 Kentucky on the road and 9-6 Missouri at home.
