SEC Basketball: Tennessee, Ole Miss rise in latest 2023-24 power rankings

12. Missouri Tigers
Previous Ranking: 8
One of the biggest teams to fall this week was Missouri, as the Tigers drop four spots from No. 8 to No. 12. After a strong 6-2 start to the year, Missouri has since went 2-3 with losses against Kansas, Seton Hall, and Illinois, with the two victories coming against Wichita State and Central Arkansas.
Now sitting at 8-5 overall, the Tigers will open SEC play this Saturday at home against Georgia. The Tigers will also travel to Kentucky next week, as well as host South Carolina.
11. Georgia Bulldogs

Rising a spot from No. 12 to No. 11 is Georgia, as the Bulldogs enter conference play as one of the SEC's hottest teams. After a 4-3 start to the year, the Bulldogs have since won six-straight over the likes of Mercer, Georgia Tech, High Point, Mount St. Mary's, North Florida, and Alabama A&M, and enter SEC play currently riding an eight-game winning streak.
Now sitting at 10-3 overall, Georgia will open SEC action this Saturday on the road at Missouri. The Bulldogs will also host both Arkansas and Tennessee next week.
