After starting the season undefeated at 6-0, the Gamecocks have since gone 6-1 with victories over George Washington, East Carolina, Charleston Southern, Winthrop, Elon, and Florida A&M, as well as their lone loss having come at Clemson, and now enter SEC play riding a five-game winning streak.

9. Florida Gators

Rising a spot from No. 10 to No. 9 is Florida, as the Gators are also one of the SEC's hottest teams at the moment. After a 4-3 start to the year, Florida has since won six-straight games over Merrimack, Richmond, East Carolina, Michigan, Grambling, and Quinnipiac to enter SEC play riding a six-game winning streak.
