6. Arkansas Razorbacks

Previous Ranking: 5

Dropping a spot out of the top five from No. 5 to No. 6 is Arkansas, who currently enter SEC play on a three-game winning streak. After a 5-3 start to the year, Arkansas has since gone 4-1 with wins over Furman, Lipscomb, Abilene Christian, and UNC Wilmington, with the Razorbacks also having suffered a loss to Oklahoma.

Now sitting at 9-4 overall, Arkansas will open SEC play Saturday at home against Auburn. Arkansas will also travel to Georgia and Florida next week.

5. Ole Miss Rebels

SEC basketball's biggest riser entering conference play is Ole Miss, who jumps four spots from No. 9 to No. 5. After a 6-0 start to the year, the Rebels have continued that impressive start to the season to remain the SEC's lone current unbeaten team by going 7-0 since with wins over Memphis, Mount St. Mary's, UCF, California, Troy, SMU, and Bryant.

Now sitting undefeated at 13-0 overall, Ole Miss will open SEC play this Saturday at Tennessee. The Rebels will also host both Florida and Vanderbilt next week.
