2. Kentucky Wildcats

Previous Ranking: 1

Dropping a spot out of the No. 1 ranking to No. 2 is the Kentucky Wildcats, who have continued to have a strong start to the 2023-24 season. After a 6-1 start to the year, the Wildcats would suffer a home loss at UNC Wilmington, but have since bounced back with four-straight wins over Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Louisville, and Illinois State to enter SEC play on a four-game winning streak.

Now sitting at 10-2 overall, Kentucky will open SEC play Saturday on the road at Florida. Kentucky will also host Missouri next week, as well as travel to Texas A&M.

1. Tennessee Volunteers
