Dell McGee has been the run game coordinator and running backs coach since 2019 for the University of Georgia and was the running backs coach for three seasons before that at the school.
Nick Chubb, Sony Michel, De’Andre Swift, Zamir White and Kenny McIntosh are amongst the running backs that McGee has helped to produced, as well as being part of two national championships during his time in Athens.
Like his colleague on the other side of the ball Glen Schumann, being groomed by one of the best in Kirby Smart will not go unnoticed around college football. Fran Brown was one of the first to part from under Smart to take a head coaching role. Mcghee could be next.
