Terry Godwin, Mecole Hardman, George Pickens, Ladd McConkey, Adonai Mitchell and Malik Nabors are just a few of the names that LSU co-offensive coordinator Cortez Hankton has helped to develop in his career.

Hankton served at the University of Georgia as their wide receivers coach and pass game coordinator from 2018 to 2021 before taking the same position in Baton Rouge beginning in 2022.

This strong and long list of accomplished receivers, a few of which have gone onto have NFL careers by this point bodes well for Hankton to get a future opportunity as a head coach down the line.

The names are endless. But these are some of the trendier picks lately to be projected soon as head coaches. Even if all are eventually given head coaching opportunities, the odds say that not all will succeed. Time will tell. But regardless, these are some names to keep your eye on in the future.
