4. Chris “Poo” Paul Jr. (LB, Ole Miss)

Chris “Poo” Paul Jr. has totaled 136 tackles and six sacks his past two years in Fayetteville. The struggling Hogs probably did not help for Paul Jr. wanting to transfer to a better situation in 2024 with Arkansas head coach Sam Pittman deciding to be retained by Razorbacks athletic director Hunter Yurachek.

Paul Jr. definitely found a better situation in Oxford under head coach Lane Kiffin and defensive coordinator Pete Golding. Look for Paul Jr. to play alongside linebackers TJ Dudley and Suntarine Perkins for the Rebels. Paul Jr. should be the leader on the core and considering some of the talent like Will Anderson Jr. that Golding has coached and developed before during his time at Alabama, expect Paul Jr. to not disappoint.

3. Zalance “Lance” Heard (OT, Tennessee)

Heard is highly underrated in value here simply because he has not had a chance to start yet. The former five star recruit spent his true freshman season arguable primed and ready for the moment, but was sitting behind LSU’s Will Campbell who was a mainstay on the Tigers’ offensive line at the same position before Heard arrived and continued to be.

Heard was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team and did not allow a sack in 195 offensive snaps in 2023 for the Tigers. The promise is there and now Heard will get a chance to show it in Knoxville.
