Headlined by a few transfers within the SEC, here is a look back at some of the biggest headlines Tuesday across the conference.
Vanderbilt transfer WR London Humphreys commits to Georgia
One of the top wide receivers in the transfer portal, Vanderbilt transfer London Humphreys is making a move within the SEC, as he has committed to Georgia. Humphreys is coming off a freshman season in which he had 22 receptions for 439 yards and four touchdowns.
Texas A&M transfer DL LT Overton commits to Alabama
Alabama has landed a commitment from Texas A&M defensive line transfer LT Overton. Overton, a former five-star prospect from the 2022 class, had a combined 48 tackles, three TFL, and one sack across the last two seasons in College Station, which included 17 tackles this past year.
Ole Miss HC Lane Kiffin agrees to contract extension
Ole Miss and head coach Lane Kiffin have agreed to a contract extension. Kiffin is currently in his fourth season at Ole Miss, where he holds a combined 33-15 record.
4-star Miami DL commit Kendall Jackson flips to Texas A&M
After committing to the Hurricanes earlier this month, Kendall Jackson has flipped his commitment from Miami to Texas A&M. Jackson, who is also a former Florida commit, is rated as a four-star defensive lineman out of Buchholz High School in Florida.
Texas A&M WR Evan Stewart enters transfer portal
One of the top wide receivers in the SEC, Evan Stewart has entered the transfer portal after two seasons at Texas A&M in which he had a combined 91 receptions for 1,163 yards and six touchdowns. Stewart, a former five-star prospect, is also coming off a season in which he had 38 receptions for 514 yards and four touchdowns.
Georgia transfer LB Xavian Sorey commits to Arkansas
Arkansas has landed a commitment from Georgia transfer linebacker Xavian Sorey. Sorey had a combined 24 tackles across three seasons in Athens, which included 19 tackles, 1.5 TFL, one sack, and one PD this past season.
Texas A&M OL Chase Bisontis withdraws from transfer portal
Having previously entered the transfer portal, Texas A&M offensive lineman Chase Bisontis will return to College Station next season. Bisontis started at right tackle for the Aggies this past season as a freshman.
