SEC News: Early Signing Day, Dumas-Johnson announces decision

A day that was headlined by Early Signing Day, here are some things you need to know from the SEC on Wednesday, December 20, which featured both high school and transfer portal commitments.
Georgia transfer LB Jamon Dumas-Johnson commits to Kentucky
One of the more notable SEC players to enter the transfer portal this offseason, Georgia linebacker Jamon Dumas-Johnson has committed to Kentucky. Dumas-Johnson had a combined 125 tackles across the last three seasons with the Bulldogs, and is coming off a year in which he had 34 tackles, 5.5 TFL, 3.5 sacks, and two PD.
4-star DL Steve Mboumoua commits to Alabama
Alabama has landed a commitment from Steve Mboumoua to their 2024 class. Mboumoua is rated as a four-star defensive lineman out of Notre Dame de Foy in Canada.
5-star Florida State S commit KJ Bolden flips to Georgia
Having previously been committed to the Seminoles since August of 2023, Florida State commit KJ Bolden has flipped his commitment to Georgia. Bolden is the nation's No. 1 safety in the 2024 class, rated as a five-star prospect out of Buford High School in Georgia.
4-star Texas ATH commit Aeryn Hampton flips to Alabama
Alabama has landed a commitment from Aeryn Hampton, who flipped to the Crimson Tide after having been previously committed to Texas since July of 2023. Hampton is rated as a four-star athlete out of Daingerfield (TX).
4-star Florida DL commit Amaris Williams flips to Auburn
The top player in the state of North Carolina, Amaris Williams has flipped his commitment from Florida to Auburn. Williams, a four-star defensive lineman out of Clinton (NC), had previously been committed to the Gators since June of 2023.
4-star Florida LB commit Adarius Hayes flips to Miami
Adarius Hayes, who is a four-star linebacker out of in-state Largo High School, flipped from the Gators to Miami. Hayes had previously been committed to the Gators since January of 2023.
4-star Miami RB commit Kevin Riley flips to Alabama
Alabama landed a commitment from Kevin Riley, who flipped from Miami after having previously been committed to the Hurricanes since June of 2023. Riley is one of the top running backs in the 2024 class, rated as a four-star prospect out of Tuscaloosa County High School in Alabama.
