SEC News: Raiola & Filsaime flip, Texas lands top transfer DB Mukuba

With the transfer portal movement continuing to begin the week, here are some of the biggest headlines from a loaded day across the SEC on Monday, December 18, 2023.
Oregon transfer DB Trikweze Bridges commits to Florida
Florida has landed a commitment from Oregon transfer defensive back Trikweze Bridges, who had a combined 90 tackles and four INT's across the last four seasons with the Ducks. Bridges also had 16 tackles, 0.5 TFL, and three PD this past season at Oregon.
Southeastern Louisiana transfer TE Bauer Sharp commits to Oklahoma
Oklahoma has landed a commitment from Southeastern Louisiana transfer tight end Bauer Sharp. Sharp is coming off a season in which he had 29 catches for 288 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 133 yards and five more scores on 25 attempts.
Clemson transfer DB Andrew Mukuba commits to Texas
Texas has secured a commitment from Clemson transfer defensive back Andrew Mukuba, who is one of the top players at the position in the transfer portal. Mukuba, who had 143 tackles across the past three seasons combined at Clemson, is coming off a season in which he had 42 tackles, two TFL, six PD, and one FR for the Tigers.
5-star Florida S commit Xavier Filsaime flips to Texas
Xavier Filsaime, who had been committed to Florida since April of 2023, has flipped his commitment to Texas. Filsaime is considered as one of the nation's top safeties in the 2024 class, rated as a five-star prospect out of McKinney High School in Texas.
Mississippi State transfer DB Decamerion Richardson commits to Ole Miss
Not only a transfer within the SEC, but also within the state of Mississippi, Ole Miss has landed a commitment from Mississippi State defensive back Decamerion Richardson. Richardson, who has a combined 177 tackles the last three seasons, is coming off a year in which he had 79 tackles, one TFL, one sack, and seven PD for the Bulldogs.
Georgia QB Carson Beck to return for 2024 season
Georgia quarterback Carson Beck has announced that he will return to Athens for the 2024 season. In his first season as the Bulldogs starter, Beck posted a 72.4 CMP% with 3,738 passing yards and a 22:6 TD:INT ratio, while also rushing for 127 yards and four touchdowns on 58 attempts.
5-star Georgia QB commit Dylan Raiola flips to Nebraska
One of the nation's top overall prospects in the 2024 class, Dylan Raiola has flipped his commitment from Georgia to Nebraska. Raiola, a five-star quarterback out of Buford High School in Georgia, had been committed to the Bulldogs since May of 2023.
Vanderbilt transfer QB AJ Swann commits to LSU
LSU has landed a commitment from Vanderbilt transfer quarterback AJ Swann, who has spent each of the last two seasons in Nashville. During that span, Swann has a combined 56.3 CMP% with 2,731 passing yards and a 22:9 TD:INT ratio.
4-star EDGE Jayshawn Ross commits to Alabama
Alabama has added a commitment to their 2024 class in Jayshawn Ross. Ross is rated as a four-star edge rusher out of Liberty North (MO).
