Number 16: Alabama Crimson Tide

The Alabama Crimson Tide have not lost a game yet, as they have a record of 8-0.

After not losing a single game yet, the Crimson Tide only moved up one spot in this weeks rankings. Alabama got a sweep to start off the season over Manhattan.

Last week, Alabama went 5-0 to help them move up in the rankings to sixteenth. In those five games, the Crimson Tide defeated Middle Tennessee State and Alabama State before they hosted Valparaiso. Alabama easily swept Valparaiso with each game ending in the seventh inning due to mercy rule.

TJ McCants is leading the Alabama offense with some great power numbers. In eight games, McCants has a batting average of .433 with five home runs and 17 runs batted in. He also has a 1.600 OPS and three doubles.

This week, the Crimson Tide travels to Birmingham to face off against UAB on Tuesday night. Then on the weekend, they head to Frisco, Texas to compete in the Frisco Classic. In that tournament, Alabama will face off against Indiana, Arizona, and Dallas Baptist.
