Number 8: Florida Gators

The Florida Gators have struggled this season, which has led to their drop from four to eight. Their overall record on the season sits at 10-5.

Last week, the Gators began their week with a loss to Central Florida, 9-6. Over the weekend, Florida hosted Saint Mary's and won two of three in that series.

Colby Shelton has been the best hitter for the Gators so far this season. Through 15 games, Shelton has a batting average of .356 with nine home runs and 21 runs batted in. He also has an OPS of 1.314, which includes an on-base percentage of .467 and a slugging percentage of .847.

Jac Caglianone has been the most consistent pitcher for the Gators. Through three starts, Caglianone has an earned run average of 1.80 in 15 innings pitched with 27 strikeouts.

This week, the Gators have a tough week. For their midweek match up, Florida takes on Florida State. This weekend, the Gators play an undefeated Texas A&M team.
